The e-stop box's logo lights up yellow if there is a KORE laser connected. Make sure that the e-stop is released and the key-switch is in its "on" position. Now push the "activate"-button for at least 5 seconds and all KORE laser projector's emission LED strips will light up. You can also have a look onto your e-stop box as the logo will turn from yellow to white, once all KORE in the network are activated and ready for emission.
If you push the e-stop or turn the key-switch off, the "EMERGENCY STOP" label will light up red and all the projector's emission LED strips will turn off (and therefore laser output will be disabled). Any e-stop box in the network will show that an emergency stop has been performed. All e-stops need to be released and all key-switches will need to be on "on"-position in order to reactivate the lasers again.
The KORE features 3 different status LEDs showing some useful information for the user.
The temperature LED indicates if the projectors temperature is over/under the normal operation limit. If the LED lights blue, the KORE's heat sink is too cold and the internal heating system actively heats up the laser to its perfect operation temperature.
An orange LED indicates that the laser modules aren't at their perfect operation temperature. The Peltier elements will heat up/cool down the modules until they reach their normal operation temperature. During this time, the output power will be reduced to 50%. If the heat sink's temperature isn't at perfect temperature too (temperature status LED lights up), the output power is reduced to even 25%.
The short answer: Under any in-/outdoor typical stage environment - but also beyond that.
Every laser module within a KORE is equipped with a Peltier element which allows the module be heated up or cooled down due to the ColorDrive driver system with full bridge temperature regulation. Furthermore the KORE has 2-3 high speed fans which operate depending on the heat sink's temperature (up to 50°C ambient temperature).
A very special feature of the KORE is the integrated heating system which makes it possible to operate below zero (down to -30°C with strong wind!).
An optional rain cover made of heavy truck tarp protects the KORE during rain or snow. So, outdoor use under normal wind conditions is no problem at all.
